Thank you for asking. I am proud to be both a Catholic and a Democrat. Two very different families but I believe the best for me. I am a strong believer in the Catholic doctrine but struggle with the men that run the church. Lots of contradictions - constantly. Allowing the Republican influence to engulf the Catholic church over the last 8 years has been a total contradiction and I believe strongly that we need to let the country be run and keep our church its own estate. The Republian party is a party that sells guilt regarding religion to influence people into doing things the way they believe Christ would have it. I totally disagree. I am a libral thinker as I believe Christ was when he walked here on earth. He spent his time with the poor and social misfits, he prayed with themn and he cared about what was going on with them. That is where I feel I am a solid Democrat. We want health care for everyone, we want the working man to provide for his family, we want the government to be a fair government for everyone not just the rich. I do not feel an entitlement. I support social justice. I am morally strong so anything I do not believe for myself does not mean should not be in place for another. This is a country for everyone, so the laws need to be made on just on Christian terms but on the terms of everyone in the USA.
